How do I get a mixtape?
On our site we do not sell the physical copies of mixtapes, rather a digital copy in the MP3 format. Similar to websites such as iTunes or Rhapsody, this eliminates the wait time for shipping and allows you to enjoy your newly purchased mixtape(s) in minutes, not days.
How do I order a mixtape?
Our site is broken up into three basic sections where you can find the product you are searching for. On the front page in the center column, we display the most recently added mixtapes. On the left-hand column, we list our mixtapes by DJs and specific genres (labeled Categories). Below that section we offer a search engine feature (Artist Search) which allows you to search for specific mixtapes and/or specific artist.
Once you have found a product you wish to purchase you may left click on either the Download or the Add To Cart button. The difference between the two options is the Download button will take you straight to the checkout process, and the Add To Cart button will allow you to download multiple mixtapes within one purchase.
After clicking either selection, you will be redirected to a PayPal processing page. We use PayPal at DJMixtapez.com because it possess the largest online merchant and customer base in the world, with over 100 million customers worldwide it insures both parties a speedy and secure transaction process. If you have clicked the Download button you will be taken to a PayPal Secure Checkout screen. PayPal gives you the option of either paying by credit card or using a PayPal account if you should have one. If you choose to pay via credit card you will be asked to fill out the required form.
After completing the payment process, you will be forwarded to a page that acknowledges your payment to DJMixtapez.com. Your browser may or may not display an encryption warning for the page, if it does, click yes to proceed. Click on the Return to Merchant button to proceed to the download page.
Once you have reached the Thank You For Your Purchase page click the highlighted Download now.
The final page of your transaction is the actual download page. Here you simply click the download button to the right of your purchased file, select save as when prompted, and choose a folder to download your new mixtape to.
How To Order Multiple Mixtapes
The process for ordering multiple mixtapes is very similar to the process for ordering a single mixtape. If you intend to purchase multiple mixtapes, click the Add To Cart button on the mixtape description page instead of the Download button.
After clicking the Add To Cart button, you will be redirected to a PayPal Shopping Cart page. If you are finished shopping, click the Proceed to Checkout button. If you wish to add more selections to your cart click the Back button on your browser’s navigational toolbar to return to DJMixtapez.com.
Opening A .Zip file
If you are using Windows XP, then your operating system has built-in support for Zip files. They are described as "Compressed (zipped) folders." Just double-click on a Zip file and it will open in Explorer, just like a folder. Double-click on a file inside the compressed folder and you may be able to open that too.
If you're using Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT or Windows 2000 then you'll need to install a special application to open Zip files. We strongly recommend the use of WinZip (www.winzip.com) but you can choose any zip application you like.
